Song of the Soul (Atmashataka)
Atmashataka (Song of the Soul): These are verses composed by the Great Indian Philosopher -Adi Shankaracharya and have been rendered beautifully in song in Raag Darbari Kannada by Aparna Panshikar, vocals and Bhargav Mistry on the Sarod. This vido clip is one of the songs from their album "Shivoham". Raag Darbari Kannada is considered to be the king of all Ragas. It gives a majestic and solemn ambience to these very mystical verses.
