The Comunidad Inti Wara Yassi (CIWY) is a unique animal rescue centre
where locals and volunteers help to rehabilitate animals.
Rescuing wild animals such as monkeys, birds, pumas, and jaguars from
Bolivia's black market or abusive situations. In the picture above,
Faustino, a howler monkey that was rescued from a life as a pet where
he regularly drank alcohol and watched TV all day, snacks on fruit at
the reserve .
Founded by Juan Carlos Antezana in 1996, the Comunidad Inti Wara
Yassi began as a 93-acre jungle reserve for monkeys rescued from homes
and markets.The centre is now made up of three sanctuaries that cover
1,991-acres, where up to 40 volunteers care for the animals.

Coffee Creations: famous paintings recreated with espresso by Karen Eland

Karen Eland re-creates famous masterpieces with espresso coffee
instead of paint. Reproducing everyone from Da Vinci to Van Gogh,
skilled artist Karen, 36, from Bend, Oregon now makes a living with
her coffee art.
She produced her first espresso painting in 1997, and the former
coffee shop worker has now created close to 90 art works.
She specialises in replicas of famous paintings, many of them
including a reference to coffee drinking in the actual painting. Many
of them also have witty coffee-themed titles.

Face Painter_James Kuhn

Wacky artist James Kuhn wowed the world last year by painting his own
face every day for a year. Now the 47-year-old from Three Oaks,
Michigan is doing it again - and his work is better than ever.
